How does the 14-day free trial work?

Accepted Answer

When you sign up we ask for your payment details to reserve your place, but no charge is taken during the 14-day trial. You have full access to the members' portal, member rates, Ask Alex and country healthcare guides. If you cancel before the end of day 14 you pay nothing. If you don't cancel, your chosen plan starts automatically on day 15 and renews until cancelled.

How do I cancel my 2TierTravel membership?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel at any time from the Profile page inside your account — one click ends the trial or turns off auto-renewal on your paid membership. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, you keep access until then, and Stripe will not charge you again. No phone call, email or account team is required.

Do I get a refund if I cancel after the trial ends?

Under UK, Irish and EU consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off right, which our free trial covers in full. Monthly memberships are non-refundable once a monthly period begins — you simply won't be charged for the next month. For annual memberships cancelled after day 14 we're not obliged to refund the unused portion, but we consider requests fairly and on a case-by-case basis. Full details are in our Terms.

Members save up to 20% versus the best publicly available price on major online travel agents. Savings are strongest on 3–5 star hotels, resort stays, long-stay bookings, family holidays and business trips. We benchmark our rates against the best publicly available prices to keep the discount real and verifiable.

Does 2TierTravel cover flights or package holidays?

Accepted Answer

No. 2TierTravel is focused on hotels, resort stays, car hire and activities only. We do not sell flights, package holidays or all-inclusive packages. Members book these individual travel components directly through the members' portal for both leisure and business travel.

Are bookings ATOL, ABTA or Package Travel Directive protected?

No. 2TierTravel is a membership club, not a travel agent, tour operator or 'seller of travel'. Bookings made through the members' portal are individual travel components supplied by third-party partners and are not covered by ATOL, ABTA, the Irish CAR travel-bond scheme or the EU Package Travel Directive unless the individual supplier states otherwise at the point of booking. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical care, repatriation and supplier insolvency.

Travel insurance is not included in your membership. Because bookings are individual travel components sold by third-party suppliers, you should take out comprehensive travel insurance for every trip — covering cancellation, medical care, repatriation and supplier insolvency. Yes. 2TierTravel was founded in 2020 and works with established, vetted travel wholesalers and hotel groups. Every rate is bookable through the members' portal and paid to the supplier at the time of booking. We regularly benchmark member rates against the best publicly available prices to keep savings real and verifiable.

How does 2TierTravel compare to public hotel booking sites?

Public booking sites show the same public rack rate. 2TierTravel shows a private members' rate on top of that inventory — usually 5–20% lower once resort fees and taxes are included. You still get the same hotels, the same rooms and standard cancellation policies, just at a member price.

Membership is priced in GBP (£9.99/month or £99/year) and paid via Stripe. Stripe accepts all major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where available. Bookings inside the members' portal may be priced in local currency by the supplier; your card issuer handles any foreign exchange.

Membership is personal to you and your immediate household. You must be 18 or over to hold a membership. Accounts must not be shared with, or resold to, other people or businesses — we may suspend accounts we believe are being shared or resold, without refund.

Ask Alex is our in-app AI travel guide. It answers travel questions for 170+ countries — destinations, visas, getting around, local healthcare systems, emergency numbers, English-speaking hospitals, pharmacy rules, vaccine notes and travel insurance. It is a travel guide, not a source of personal medical advice. Ask Alex is available to members inside the dashboard.

After completing Stripe checkout you are taken straight into the members' portal. Search for a destination, compare member rates against public prices, and book directly. Booking confirmations and payments are handled by the third-party supplier; 2TierTravel member support is available 7 days a week for anything membership-related.

Yes. 2TierTravel supports leisure holidays, business travel, remote-worker long stays, family bookings and small corporate travel programmes. Member support is available by live chat and email 7 days a week.

How is my personal data handled?

We only collect the data needed to run your membership (email, name, billing details via Stripe) and to make bookings via the members' portal. Payment card data is handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
