Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the 2TierTravel membership service, our website at 2tiertravel.com and any related applications, member portals or partner platforms we make available (together, "the Service").
The Service is operated by 2TierTravel ("we", "us", "our"), registered in Gibraltar at Lime Wall Road, Gibraltar. You can contact us at support@2tiertravel.com. By creating an account, starting a free trial or paying for a membership you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Gibraltar. If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, the European Union or the European Economic Area, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection rights available under the law of your country of residence and nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
1. What 2TierTravel Is (and Is Not)
2TierTravel is a paid membership club. Your membership gives you access to a private booking portal operated by independent third-party travel technology providers and to member-only rates negotiated by those providers with hotels, car hire companies, tour operators, cruise lines, attractions and other travel suppliers.
We are not a travel agent, tour operator, airline, hotel, package organiser or "seller of travel". We do not sell travel to you, we do not take payment for travel, we do not issue tickets or vouchers, and we are not party to any booking contract you enter into.
Your membership fee pays for access to the member portal and member rates only. It is not a payment for any flight, hotel, car, package, cruise, experience or other travel product.
2. Bookings Made Through the Member Portal
When you book travel through the member portal, you enter into a direct contract with the third-party travel supplier (for example, the hotel, car hire company, tour operator or the portal operator acting as retailer). That supplier is solely responsible for the booking, the travel product, payment processing, confirmations, amendments, refunds, complaints and delivery of the service.
Before you complete any booking, the third-party supplier or portal operator will present you with their own booking terms, cancellation policy, baggage rules, deposit/payment schedule and any applicable fees. It is your responsibility to read and accept those terms before booking. Your booking is governed by those terms, not by these Terms.
Important consumer protection notice: bookings made through the member portal are generally sold as individual travel components and are not "package holidays" arranged by us. Unless the third-party supplier expressly states otherwise at the point of booking, your booking is not protected by:
- the UK ATOL scheme;
- ABTA bonding or the ABTA Code of Conduct;
- the Irish Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) travel bond scheme;
- the EU Package Travel Directive (Directive (EU) 2015/2302) as transposed in your country; or
- any equivalent statutory travel-agent insolvency or repatriation scheme.
If insolvency protection or package-holiday rights are important to you, please check the individual booking terms of the supplier before you pay, and consider taking out appropriate travel insurance. We strongly recommend all members take out comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical care, repatriation and supplier insolvency for every trip booked.
3. Membership, Free Trial and Automatic Renewal
Membership is offered on a monthly (£9.99) or yearly (£99) plan, priced in GBP, or in EUR for members in the euro area. Payment is taken by Stripe on our behalf. New members receive a 14-day free trial. We ask for your payment details at sign-up to reserve your place; no charge is taken during the trial.
If you do not cancel before the end of the 14-day trial, your chosen plan will start automatically on day 15 and your card will be charged the plan price. The membership will then renew automatically for further monthly or yearly periods until cancelled. Each renewal is charged in advance at the then-current rate for your plan. For yearly plans we will email you a reminder before your renewal payment is taken.
You may cancel your trial or your paid membership at any time from your account at /profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until that date and Stripe will not renew or charge you again.
4. Your 14-Day Right to Withdraw (Cooling-Off Period)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Irish European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No. 484/2013) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, you have the right to withdraw from your membership contract without giving any reason within 14 days of the day the contract was concluded (i.e. the day you signed up).
Our 14-day free trial is designed to align with this statutory cooling-off period. If you cancel at any point during the trial, no payment will be taken and you owe us nothing.
To exercise your right to withdraw you can:
- cancel from your account page at /profile (the fastest method); or
- email us at support@2tiertravel.com with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract.
If you paid an annual membership fee and then request a refund after the 14-day cooling-off period has ended, we are not obliged to provide a refund for the unused portion. However, we will consider refund requests fairly and on a discretionary basis. Monthly memberships are non-refundable once a monthly period has begun; you will simply not be charged for the next period after you cancel.
Please note that your statutory right of withdrawal applies to your membership contract with us. It does not apply to bookings you make through the third-party portal for accommodation, transport of passengers, vehicle rental, catering or leisure services related to a specific date or period of performance — those bookings are excluded from the statutory cooling-off period under the Regulations and are governed by the supplier's own cancellation terms.
5. Pricing and Currency
Membership prices are shown in GBP or EUR depending on your country. As a Gibraltar-based business, no VAT applies to our membership fees. We may change our membership prices from time to time; any change will be notified to you by email and will only apply to future renewals — never to the period you have already paid for. If you do not accept a price change you may cancel before it takes effect.
Prices shown on the member portal for travel products are set by the third-party supplier and may be shown in a different currency. Currency conversions, foreign exchange fees and card issuer fees are the responsibility of the member.
6. Account Access and Acceptable Use
You must be at least 18 years old to hold a 2TierTravel membership. Membership is personal to you and your immediate household; you must not share your account credentials with, or resell access to, any other person or business. We may suspend or terminate access without refund where we reasonably believe an account is being shared, resold or used to scrape rates or content from the portal.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to circumvent access controls, to attempt to reverse-engineer the portal or its APIs, or to submit false or misleading information at sign-up or at booking.
7. Travel Documents, Insurance and Personal Responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you and every person in your travel party hold valid passports, visas, ETAs, health certificates and any other documentation required for your itinerary. We give no advice on entry requirements and accept no liability if you are refused boarding, entry or accommodation for lack of documentation.
We do not provide travel, medical or repatriation insurance. You are strongly encouraged to arrange appropriate insurance for every trip.
8. Our Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) breach of your statutory rights as a consumer under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022 or equivalent EU consumer protection legislation; or (d) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Subject to the above, we provide the membership Service with reasonable care and skill but we are not liable for:
- the acts, omissions, default, insolvency or failure to perform of any third-party travel supplier, portal operator, hotel, airline, car hire company, tour operator, cruise line or activity provider;
- the accuracy, availability or pricing of travel products displayed on the third-party portal (rates, availability and content are supplied and updated by third parties in real time);
- loss or damage arising from your use of a booking, product or service supplied by a third party;
- any indirect, consequential, special or purely economic loss, including loss of enjoyment, loss of profit or loss of opportunity.
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with these Terms and your membership shall not exceed the total membership fees you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Complaints and Alternative Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint about your membership, please contact us first at support@2tiertravel.com and we will try to resolve it within 30 days.
UK consumers: if we cannot resolve your complaint you may refer it to the UK Financial Ombudsman only where applicable, or to Citizens Advice.
Irish and EU consumers: you may also submit a complaint via the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or (if resident in Ireland) contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission at ccpc.ie.
Complaints about a specific travel booking should be directed to the supplier that issued the booking confirmation, in accordance with their terms.
10. Travel Guidance and Ask Alex
Our country guides and Ask Alex, our AI travel companion, provide general travel and health information for guidance only. They are not medical, legal, visa or immigration advice, and may not reflect the very latest local requirements. Always verify entry rules, health advice and safety information with official sources such as your government's travel advice service, a doctor or the relevant embassy before you travel.
11. Promotional and Partner Codes
From time to time we offer promotional pricing through partner codes (for example, for members of a partner organisation). A code is valid only for eligible members of that partner, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time. Promotional pricing applies for as long as you remain continuously subscribed on that plan; if you cancel and later rejoin, standard pricing will apply unless the promotion is still open.
12. Accessibility
We aim to make 2tiertravel.com usable by as many people as possible, following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as our target. If you find any part of the site difficult to use, tell us at support@2tiertravel.com and we will work to fix it and offer the content in an accessible way.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Service or legal requirements. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any material change takes effect. If you do not accept a change you may cancel your membership before the change takes effect and, if you cancel within that notice period, we will refund the unused portion of any annual fee you have paid.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Gibraltar. Any dispute may be brought in the courts of Gibraltar or, if you are a consumer, in the courts of your country of residence within the UK or EU. Consumer rights that apply under mandatory local law are unaffected.
